After-care Instructions

Aftercare is very important for achieving beautiful
and lasting results

Immediate post-treatment care following microblading is crucial for ensuring optimal healing and long-lasting results.

1) For the first 24 hours after the procedure, it's essential to keep the treated area clean and dry.

2) Avoid touching the eyebrows to prevent the introduction of bacteria and potential infection. Refrain from getting the eyebrows wet, including avoiding activities that may cause sweating or exposure to moisture. Do not apply any makeup or skincare products to the treated area during this time.

3) After the initial 24 hours, gently cleanse the eyebrows with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser and lukewarm water. Pat the area dry with a clean tissue or soft cloth—avoid rubbing or pulling on the skin. Apply a thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment using a clean cotton swab or your fingertips. Be careful not to over-apply the ointment, as this can suffocate the skin.

Long-term protection and maintenance play a vital role in preserving the quality and longevity of your microbladed eyebrows.

1) Avoid exposing the treated area to excessive moisture, including swimming, saunas, or steam rooms, as this can cause premature fading of the pigment. Protect your eyebrows from direct sunlight by wearing a hat or applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher when outdoors.

2) Refrain from using makeup or skincare products directly on the treated area until it has fully healed, typically within 7-10 days. Be gentle when cleansing your face, and avoid exfoliants or harsh chemicals that may cause premature fading of the pigment. Be mindful of your cleansing routine, opting for gentle, non-abrasive cleansers and avoiding rubbing or scrubbing the eyebrows vigorously.

3) If you engage in activities that may cause sweating, such as intense workouts or hot yoga, pat the eyebrows dry with a clean tissue to prevent excess moisture buildup.

Follow-up appointments and touch-ups are crucial components of microblading aftercare.

1) Typically scheduled 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment, these appointments allow your technician to assess the healing process and make any necessary adjustments to achieve the desired results.

2) Touch-up sessions may be recommended to fill in any areas where the pigment did not take or to enhance the shape and density of the eyebrows further.

3) It's essential to follow any specific instructions provided by your technician regarding post-touch-up care, such as avoiding moisture or makeup application for a certain period. Depending on your skin type and lifestyle factors, additional touch-up sessions may be necessary every 6-12 months to maintain the vibrancy and longevity of your microbladed eyebrows.
